Litter
Litter is unsightly, potentially toxic, and imposes significant costs on the community to clean up and maintain our stormwater infrastructure. Litter also causes environmental impacts such as weed spread and harm to wildlife.
Litter Education
The Living Environment program will fund a significant litter education campaign to coincide with the commencement of the new litter legislation and the litter hotline to inform and educate the public about the new penalties and how to report litter offences.
