Environmental Management and Pollution Control Board

The Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control (the Board) commenced operations from January 1996, following the enactment of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 (EMPCA). 

As a result of amendments to EMPCA, the Board was replaced by the Board of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) on 1 July 2008. Information about the EPA Board can be found on the EPA website.
