Water Quality Policy Review 2008

Pursuant to Section 15 of the State Policies and Projects Act 1993 the Premier has directed the Minister for Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts to conduct a review of the State Policy on Water Quality Management 1997.
A discussion paper (below) has been released which provides background information, elaborates the key issues identified in the course of the Policy’s operation since 1997, and considers options for the Policy’s future.
The Department of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts (Environment Division) sought public submissions on the review.
