Sawdust

Some sawmillers use their sawdust as a fuel source but many sawmillers, at differing times, have excess sawdust. Look in the Yellow Pages of the local telephone directory and call your local sawmiller to find out whether you can collect some sawdust eg. for your garden, horse arena or for animal bedding.

White Goods

Depending on their condition, your old white goods may be accepted by a second hand dealer or reuse centre.

White goods may be able to be placed in a designated area at many municipal waste depots and are subsequently compacted by a large machine. The metal is recycled. See Council Recycling Services.
