Living on the Coast

Living at Nine Mile Beach

This document is relevant to people who live adjacent to the coastline anywhere in Tasmania, although it does contain information specific to Nine Mile Beach at Dolphin Sands on the East Coast of Tasmania. It includes information on sewage, tank water, mosquitoes, fire management, wildlife and pets, gardening and rubbish disposal.

The idea for this booklet came from the Dolphin Sands Ratepayers' Association Inc. Its production is supported by the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council, Parks and Wildlife Service, Coastcare, Landcare and Waterwatch.
